Dr. Alexandra Carroll was born in the beautiful mountainscape of Utah. Her family then took on the courageous act known as the “reverse Oregon trail” packing the proverbial carriage and fording rivers to finally settle in the outback of Connecticut. She decided to stay local for college and pursued both her undergraduate degree and Dental degree at University of Connecticut. Desiring a stronger foundation, she opted for advanced training, getting an extra year of experience through a General Practice Residency at Prisma Health in Columbia, SC. Since then, Dr. Carroll has practiced as an independent practitioner in SC while working towards obtaining her North Carolina licensing. Make sure you welcome her to our great city and greet her with that well-known Charlotte hospitality when you schedule with her!

For Dr. Carroll, the dream of becoming a dentist was built on the foundation that ‘A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear.’ She loves that dentistry provides her the opportunity to gain mutual trust with patients in a one-on-one setting to improve their oral health and the aesthetics of their smile. She particularly loves the opportunity to work with a patient and help transition them from dental pain and suffering to enjoying the health and

psychological benefits of a beautiful smile, because we all deserve to be beautiful!

In her free time, Dr. Carroll enjoys all the outdoor activities the Whitewater Center has to offer – perhaps that’s where her love of Charlotte started. She is an avid reader and a

member of several book clubs, and an amateur baker working tirelessly to develop the world’s next Cronut. She hopes to someday spend more time travelling.

Dr. Carroll is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Association.

Founder & Dentist

Dr. Natalie Rogers is the owner of Stellar Dental.  After relocating to Charlotte early in 2014, she proudly opened her first office in the University area.  Since then she and her family have come to learn the city of Charlotte and fell in love with the NoDa area, eventually settling in neighboring Villa Heights.  She quickly realized the need for dental care in the community and couldn't resist such a great commute!   In October 2018, that dream finally became a reality when Stellar Dental of NODA opened its doors!

Dr. Rogers is a first generation American, born to Cuban immigrants in New Jersey.   She was always passionate about science and biology, but uncertain about where that would take her.  In her final year of high school, she was invited by her own dentist to assist in her practice.  This was her introduction to the world of dentistry and so a new passion began.

She achieved her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in upstate New York and enrolled in the Harvard School of Dental Medicine immediately after, graduating in 2008.  During her time in dental school she was honored with the Massachusetts Health Access Award, which placed her within a community health center for two years following graduation.  This opportunity allowed her to treat a range of patients, many of whom had never seen a dentist.  Simultaneously during her time there and the five years to follow, Dr. Rogers practiced in a private practice setting in both Massachusetts and Charlotte.

Dr. Rogers met her husband while they were both graduate students in Boston; they were married in 2004.  They have an 9 year old son and a 6 year old daughter.  Their family is completed by their four dogs.  During her free time, Dr. Rogers enjoys playing with her two children, reading books and spending as much time as possible outdoors: running, biking and hiking.

As a provider, Dr. Rogers' focus is on whole family dentistry, treating patients of all ages.  It is her honor to provide the highest quality, most ethical and comprehensive care possible, and to get to know her patients as friends.   She very much looks forward to meeting you, and seeing you around the neighborhood!"

Once her kids were older she decided to get her Associate degree in America. She has since earned degrees in both Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist.

Vera and her husband, Alex, have five children who range from 20 to 30 years old. Four of them have their own families and have gifted Vera & Alex with three beautiful grandchildren. In her free time Vera enjoys spending time with her grandkids and accompanying a childrens' church choir.

Kim is a Charlotte native that attended Dental Hygiene school in Jacksonville, Florida in 2014. She was started her career in dentistry as an assistant before deciding she wanted to become a provider.  Her favorite aspects of dental hygiene are educating patients in oral hygiene, boosting their confidence, and lending an ear to listen to each patient's needs (you can refer to Kim as the local bartender of Stellar Dental).

Kim spends most of her time chasing around her 3 year old son and new puppy named Mochi.  In her free time Kim enjoys working out, hiking and hanging out with her husband and very much being a “foodie”.

He immigrated to the U.S. in 2000 with his family.  CJ first became interested in dental assisting after high school, mainly due to his fascination with peoples' smiles. CJ made the decision to attend Charlotte Dental assistant school, graduated in 2018, and immediately joining Stellar Dental.

Stephanie is a NC native, spending most of her childhood in Cherryville. After graduating high school she attended Gaston College and earned an Associate's degree in Broadcasting; moving to Charlotte shortly after. Stephanie graduated Charlotte Dental assistant school in 2019, and immediately joined the Stellar crew. After a quick stop in Green Bay, WI, Stephanie realized she needed to come back home to Stellar Dental (and to a lesser extent Charlotte).

In her free time Stephanie loves taking her dog Lyza for walks and play dates. She spends a lot of time with her mother in Cherryville, helping her create items to sell at her booth inside a vintage market.

Dental Assistant

Originally from Rocky Mount, NC, Dajia attended Edudent School of Dental Assisting in Greensboro and began her dream career of dental assisting. As a child she loved going to the dentist as a way to collect free stickers and lollipops.  Since those early days, she always aspired to a career in dentistry. Dajia loves coming to work each morning to help patients feel at ease in the dental chair, but laments that modern dentists have turned away from the "shady practice" of giving sugar-filled lolipops to their patients!

Dajia is firm believer that Charlotte has a lot, and she spends her free time enjoying all of it - from sight seeing to trying new restaurants! She also hosts her own YouTube channel where she provides movie commentaries.  If you need a movie recommendation, don't be afraid to ask!

Hygiene Assistant

Summer was born and raised in Dallas (the good one, not the one in that state with the big star). After graduating high school in 2019, Summer attended Gaston College and earned an Associates degree in Arts with an emphasis on communications.  This is when Summer found her love for helping others feel confident.  Summer graduated Lake Norman Dental Assisting School in 2022 and joined Stellar Dental immediately after.  She now puts that communication degree to full use by ensuring that our hygiene patients are comfortable and care-free during their appointment.

Outside of work, Summer enjoys reading, spending time with friends, kayaking and murder mystery podcasts.  She hopes to one day hear a podcast about a murder that happened while friends were reading books on a kayake...right after a dental appointment!

If you have been to our practice, it is unlikely you have missed Niesje's smiling face or her laughter.  The youngest of 16 kids, Niesje was born under the northern lights of Fairbanks, Alaska.  Sick of the 10.5 months of winter each year, her family moved to Richmond, VA and later to Raleigh, North Carolina.

Niesje has since settled into Charlotte where she lives with her husband, daughter, younger sister, and baby boy.  She joined our team as a receptionist before completing dental assisting school in November 2018.  Though she enjoys putting her knowledge to use functioning as an assistant, she gets more pleasure greeting our patients up front.  Her goals are always to leave our patients feeling cared for and comfortable.

Though Coraima has spent her entire life in North Carolina, she enjoys getting out of the state for travel and adventure as often as possible.

In 2017 she graduated Early College and continued working towards her associate degree of Science in Medical Office Administration in 2019.  Since she had originally aspired to be a Dental Assistant, she decided to look for work in a Dental office following graduation.  Stellar Dental snatched her up and quickly found her niche in insurance verification.  These days you can find her sitting at NoDa's front desk, working hard to make sure all of our patients insurance information is accurate so patients can feel at ease with their dental visit.
